My Role
Member Problem:
A high proportion of eligible group members aren't benefiting from being insured with OTIP. We
understand the audience, plus offer discounted rates and superb service through a brokerage.
Business problem:
We have a significant penetration gap, with only 15% of eligible members owning an OTIP home
or auto insurance policy. OTIP has aggressive growth targets to double the volume of policies in
force by 2025 so this gap needs to be resolved.
We believe that by changing the outline for your personas, combining your
websites and fixing the otip app will help increase memberships not only for
home and auto but for group memberships as well.
User journey mapping, Mapping the OTIP's ecosystem, Comparing the OTIP's mobile app with its competitors and doing user interviews.
Assumptions
1. Everyone that is insured by them is a teacher.
2. Almost everyone owns a car or a home.
3. That everyone knows about OTIP social media or gets their newsletters.
4. People use otip for the value.
5. That the app works properly.
